Many custom spring and wire form companies focus on big multi-million piece orders from automotive and appliances.  Most of our business comes from orders with quantities from 1 (rapid prototypes) to 500,000 pieces.  We provide superior service to these “smaller” orders.  They are not small quantities to you or to us.  Even if your production parts will be produced with another vendor, we can make your rapid prototype springs and wire forms.

Master Spring & Wire Form Co. specialize in small to medium quantity orders (1 to 500,000 pieces) that require short lead times (2 to 4 weeks) and high quality.  We will work with your engineers to help solve problems you are having with your spring or wire form.  Many times we can quickly solve your problem if we see the mating part of where the spring or wire form functions.  We try to give you quick responses to all of your calls, e-mails, and faxes (RFQs, order acknowledgments, and order expediting).  This type of communication makes your job easier.

Located in the Chicago area, Master Spring & Wire Form Co. supplies custom springs and wire forms to many companies in the Midwest.  However, we have many customers across the United States as well as some outside the United States.  Shipping is fast and inexpensive for most of our orders no matter where you are located.

Company History
Emil Burda founded Master Spring & Wire Form Co. in 1945.  Working as a foreman and set-up man at a large spring manufacturing plant, he was unhappy at the way the smaller orders were handled.  He saw an opportunity. With the help from his father who worked at a foundry, they made a coiling machine and the company was founded.

Emil liked to say, “We can do the possible quickly.  The impossible might take a little longer.”  He took great pride in Master Spring’s ability to solve tough spring & wire form problems that larger companies chose to “No Quote”.

As Master Spring’s reputation for great service on small to medium quantity orders grew, they became a natural choice for the local growing pinball and gaming industry.  The turn around time from design to assembly line sometimes was a few weeks. Playfield problems were discovered as the game was going down the assembly line.  Master Spring & Wire Form Co. evaluated the problem at the customer’s site, returned to the factory to make the revised parts and have them back sometimes in the same day.  This kind of problem solving and fast response became a way of doing business.  When you mix decades of this type of service with today’s technology, you have the recipe for a growing successful company.
